One of the coolest things we do in the summer is go down to Ponds Park in the evening to play baseball. Our yard is great to play pass, but we are forced to head to the ball diamond for our "heavy hitters." We all take turns playing different positions...
But, let's be serious, everyone loves to bat! This is rare footage of Frank hitting--he is usually stuck pitching. Chicks dig the long ball.
Joey will sit in his stroller for a little while watching, but before long, he is crawling around in the outfield, shagging balls with the rest of us.

Ben came straight from soccer, but his shin guards don't impede his awesome hitting.
What a fun evening. We stay until the sun goes down and the mosquitoes come out. Maybe if we're lucky, next time we can get some slurpees afterwards!
