Oh, What do you do in the Summertime...

When it's cold and wet and gray?Do you go to a movie?
Dye shirts that are groovy? Sew jammies?
Or paint some cookies?
Is that what you do?

Well, so do we!

Summer haircut.

When I went in to sit at my computer, I found a mystery...What is that? Upon closer inspection, I decided it was a lock of blond hair. What the...?
I guess Andrew decided his look needed a little more "edgy-ness" to it.
I will never understand little boys!
So, I am left with a choice--Do I shave it all off? Or do I leave a bald spot front and center? I have no idea.

These guys need a bug-zapper

I found these 2 guys (I'll call them Jethro and Cleatis) sitting in the front yard on their folding chairs with a couple of root-brewskies. It just cracked me up. Maybe it's Joey's muscle shirt or the way they were just watching cars go by and belching. I don't know.

Dinos, Preschool and T-ball

It seems like Andrew has been doing all sorts of stuff lately... Andrew and his cousins are posing in front of a fierce predator. See that space there in the middle? Joey took off screaming before I could snap the shot. Looks like he's the smart one.
Eeewww. That dinosaur skull needs a tissue.

No more preschool. This boy is ready for Kindergarten.
T-ball is basically the greatest game ever. I love how everyone gets up, everyone gets a homerun. I love how the uniforms drown the little guys. Some kids run after their own ball after they hit, sometimes they run over to their mom instead of 1st base, kids sit in the outfield and pick grass. It cracks me up!
Andrew's first game was against his cousin Jackson's team. Way to go, buddies!

Thanks for taking pictures for me, Al!

Penn Surprise

Frank had a trip to Pennsylvania where he had to drive from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. When I heard this, I was psyched, because right there in the middle is State College! What's so great about this little city, you may ask? Well, I can name three things: My brother Dave, his wife Jana and their Baby Zola! So, we booked my ticket at the last minute, and since it was so late, we didn't call them and just knocked on their door...Dave spazzed. It was the greatest idea we've ever had.
Zola and Dave took us on a great hike. Here's me and Dave standing in front of Happy Valley.
Zola loves ice cream from the Penn State Creamery. And Frank and I had some Philly Cheesesteak. MMMMmmmm.... That's right, I'm not smiling until my braces come off.
Thanks for a great trip, Frank! And thanks to Dave and Jana for re-arranging their schedules on the spur of the moment and spending a super day with us. Jana, next time, I promise I'll make sure you are in some pictures.
